Dylan McCullough

Dylan McCullough is the Artistic Director of The Committee, directing Ken Urban’s The Private Lives of Eskimos & I ♥ Kant for the company.
He recently directed Gary Winter's Cooler for The Chocolate Factory and Rob Askins' Princes of Waco for Youngblood & Ensemble Studio Theatre. Additionally, he has directed, produced and acted for such theatres as Rattlestick, Cherry Lane, HERE, Epic Repertory Company, Prospect Theater Company, Youngblood, Emerging Artists Theatre, The Samuel French Festival, Luna Stage, Holderness Theater Company, Red Bull Theater @ NYTW & The Culture Project (2006 OBIE Emerging Theatre Award), Ensemble Studio Theatre, American Opera Projects, Studio_42, Chautauqua Theatre Company, Center Stage and The Shakespeare Theatre in Washington DC. He directed, produced, and acted in his own adaptation of David Foster Wallace's Brief Interviews with Hideous Men called Hideous Men in The New York International Fringe Festival.
Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, he received his BFA in Theatre from the University of Utah’s Actor Training Program, is an alumnus of the Lincoln Center Director’s Lab, is a member of the Red Bull Theater Advisory Board and is a member of the design collective Wingspace. He also mentors student directors at the Playwrights Horizons Theater School, part of the NYU studio system.
