Thom Weaver

 

Recent projects include Teller’s Play Dead, Rocky Horror Show for the Hangar, The Aliens for Theater Exile, August: Osage County for the Arden, and Our Class for the Wilma.  His work has been seen at Cal Shakes, Arden, Wilma, Children’s Theatre Company, Hangar, Virginia Stage, CENTERSTAGE, Syracuse Stage, Curtis Opera, New Paradise Laboratories, People’s Light, Azuka, Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, Berkshire Theatre Festival, Delaware Theatre Company, Folger, Brat Productions, Roundhouse, Two River, Cincinnati Playhouse, Signature Theatre Company, Hangar Theatre, Williamstown, Theatre J, Urban Stages, Lincoln Center Festival, Spoleto Festival USA, Yale Rep, and Flashpoint Theatre Company, where he is also Artistic Director.  Awards include 6 Barrymore nominations, 2010 Helen Hayes Nomination, and the 2007 AUDELCO Award.  He is the author of A Ballplayer, and the musical Zack and Addie, and is on the staff of PlayPENN.  Education:  Carnegie Mellon and Yale.
